NBA Stars Injury Report
Kevin Garnett injured his self in the second quarter of the game vs the Utah Jazz, and is now expected to miss 2-3 weeks with a sprained muscle behind his right knee. How did the Celtics fare in the first game without KG? They won 128-108 Sunday, against the Phoenix Suns. Rondo stepped up to the plate, scoring big, with 32 points and 10 assist. Perhaps it was because it was Rondo's 23rd birthday that he played so big. Ray added 31 points, while Pierce chipped in with 26 points. We will keep you posted with how they will fare tonight vs the Denver Nuggets at 9:00pm est time.
When there were a talk of trading Amare Stoudemire, mostly because of financial reason, to reduce payroll. They then decide to fire the head coach, and keep Amare. He goes out and MURDER the Clippers with 42 points and 11 rebounds, on there way to a 142-119 rout victory. Then he sustains a horrific eye injury, that causes him to possibly miss the rest of the season, and eight weeks for sure. He underwent eye surgery to repair a torn retina, which he was apparently hit in the eye by the Clippers, Al Thornton. Though he continued to play in the game, through the fourth quarter. Sounds a some sort of conspiracy to me though. I am interested in knowing what other may think of this.
